Blaine County Charitable Fund is submitting a proposal to the Idaho Department of Commerce for an Idaho Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) CARES in the amount of $250,000. The proposed project is to expand emergency financial assistance for people experiencing homelessness and at-risk of homelessness to cover for a portion of hotel stays or rent.
The hearing will include a discussion of the need of the project; the application process; and the project’s scope of work, location, funding/budget, schedule, and expected benefits. The application and related documents will be available for review.
The hearing has been scheduled for January 4th, 2023 at 1 pm online via Zoom (link below) and will be recorded. Verbal and written comments will be accepted prior to and at the hearing. The application and meeting recording will be available for review after the meeting at the above link.
